Every project page pairs a yardage chart — drawn from standard craft references such as Lion Brand and Craft Yarn Council guidelines — with an instant calculator that converts your yarn label's numbers into yardage and skein counts, including a safety buffer for gauge differences and mistakes.

We keep the tool free by showing ads. Advertising never influences our estimates: the math is the math, and the buffer guidance is the same advice you'd get at a good local yarn shop — buy one extra skein.
